2026-09-16 LogCleaner v7.2

• First window of UniversalCleaner now holds information for a Boat or Project, like for the Calibrator. This makes it easier to hop from one project to the other, without always having to load config files from disk.
• Updated user interface where user has to specify in which row the log labels are and at which row it should start cleaning data (usually because data at the beginning of a log is not settled yet, with gaps and errors).
• Cleaner does a better job of autodetecting which line the labels are in.
• In the Labels/Values tab, added a “Filter” button. This helps you automatically find which should be the first valid row of data by, for instance, specifying that it should look for the first time BSP reaches above 3kn, or the first time Latitude is not empty.
• Filters tab: because data can now be pre-filtered for a min bsp or sog, in the filters tab, you can now only specify what is the LAST speed should be before all lines after will be ignored.

• Corrected bug in 'TryReadLatLon' where LogCleaner failed to find that the user had incorrectly specified the gps format (dd.dd instead of ddmm.mm or vice-versa).
• Corrected a bug where LogCleaner didn’t always remember the latest ConfigFile name.
• Fixed a bug where output timestamp format was not getting stored properly.

• Updated user interface to make the tool more intuitive.
• Fully reworked UniversalLogCleaner config files. They used to be in xml, now converted to json which makes them easier to read, edit (and script).
• You can now choose an export file format (.csv. .txt, or same as input file).
• LogVariables and CalculatedVariables now have a new field ‘Comments’.
• LogCLeaner now checking if user may have forgotten to set variable types.
• Implemented NumberToText calculated variable (eg: convert a numeric selectedBSP variable to text "PaddleWheel", "Quadrns", "GPS")
• Easier to pick variables (now uses a specific dialog with all variables, rather than a long dropdown box).
